i am back from penang and it was such fun
i've always been one who realizes that family moments are the BEST of its kind. :D my cousins are terrific at doing silly things and saying silly stuff. my dearest aunt is the coolest personever, i dont care what anybody else might say, she is, most definitely, the coolest person ever.
that fact, is affirmed
my younger cousins, adam and balqis were such a delight to be with <3 XD so cuteeee. adam, the destroyer (penjahanam benda, as his mom puts it) will never stay still at one place and is always seen destroying things around him but always gets us older people to laugh every time. love him to bits.
me: * reading an article on bedak sejuk* adam nak cantik tak?
adam: *does his kung fu move on me* *smiles* naaakkk
me:*watching csi*
adam n balqis: *points toy gun at me* jangan bergerak! jangan korek hidung! nanti saya tembakkk!!
haih, gotta love those kids, crying and all that :)
anyway a big HAPPY MERDEKA to everybody!
the nation is now in its ripe age :) gotta say though, the merdeka celebration this year sucks a bit. there isnt really any wonder on why that is *winkwink* but i have found one benefit of the merdeka promotions going on everywhere
the documentaries on discovery channel.
AMAZING
truly a work of art, all of em.
i've always been one who does love the culture of the nation and i find it great that discovery channel was giving malaysian filmmakers a chance to tell their story. its great. more things like that should happen. it is things like these that make me proud to be a malaysian. you see, you as a malaysian might not see whats so great about it. apa sangat? bukannya apa kan?
well, you're wrong. we have something that is very unique and its sad to know that most of us dont even know it. its cheesy but its true to say that malaysia is a big melting pot of cultures, and this is what is different about us. we DO tolerate each other, otherwise we would just kill each other. we DO have unity, it exists amongst people like you and me. we are a strong group of individuals, its just that sometimes..... the weakness overpowers. :/
but all in all,
i love this country
i love the culture
i love the unity
and most of all....
i love the food
and for that,
happy birthday malaysia.
